Job summary

Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor while ensuring seasonal areas are well-maintained.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and store leadership experience. You will participate in opening/closing, payroll tasks, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention to keep the store efficient and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; reading operational directives required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drugstore environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise and train Store Associates and support Store Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment and protect assets.
