Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with daily activities, merchandise organization, and adherence to corporate directives while maintaining a positive, safe store environment.

The role requires solid communication, teamwork, and basic leadership. Part-time status offers exposure to a fast-paced retail setting with opportunities to advance and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or store experience preferred, including leadership duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and stock merchandise, including transfers from delivery to floor.
• Execute opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store displays and promotions.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Ensure store areas are clean, organized, and compliant with policies.
• Support the Store Manager in training and development of staff.
