Dollar Tree in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining stockrooms and sales floors.

You will help organize merchandise, process directives, supervise and train store associates, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment. Part-time role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and internal communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized per company standards.
• Protect all company assets, including cash.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
