Dollar Tree in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, serve customers, and develop the team. You will assist with merchandising, opening/closing, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.

You will help maintain clean, organized store areas and uphold company standards while ensuring a positive, safe environment for customers and associates. This role requires strong communication and team-oriented skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with policies.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards across the store.
