Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help supervise Associates.

You will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain store appearance, process cash handling and payroll tasks, and uphold safety and policy standards while delivering friendly service. This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Retail leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged items, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and train store associates.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable; manage bathrooms and floors.
