Job summary

GameStop in North Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations and drive a sales-focused culture. You will develop guest relationships, promote loyalty programs, and lead Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the manager’s absence.

Responsibilities include overseeing POS transactions, training staff, scheduling, and ensuring an organized, engaging shopping environment while upholding company policies and game knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, and promote promotions.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Assist Store Manager with training and supervising store associates.
• Schedule staffing, manage payroll, and track time in HR systems.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS; ensure accurate transactions.
• Support Omni-Channel orders fulfillment and daily shipping.
