Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations in Las Vegas. You will drive sales by sharing product knowledge, maintaining a clean and organized store, and growing guest loyalty.

Responsibilities include supervising Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, training staff, scheduling shifts, approving payroll, and ensuring policy compliance. Prior experience in retail management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns quickly, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and thank customers for shopping at GameStop.
• Support the store environment, visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system accurately, issue receipts, and maintain top guest service.
• Respond to guest questions in person or on the phone and escalate issues to the Store Manager when needed.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits, including reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards loyalty.
• Assist the Store Manager with onboarding, training, and policy adherence for staff.
