Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead a sales-driven team, deliver outstanding guest service, train staff, and ensure the store looks its best while meeting objectives.

The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail leadership and video game knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or related field preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred; 3+ years is common for assistant store manager roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide best-in-class service.
• Assist with store operations and visual merchandising.
• Process purchases and returns via POS accurately.
• Train and supervise Sales Associates in absence of Store Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize store per guidelines.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled daily.
