Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily store operations and to foster a sales-driven culture focused on guest experiences. You will help lead Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, ensure a clean, organized environment, and drive performance through product knowledge and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, promote promotions, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop.
• Support store operations, merchandising, and guest relationships to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system accurately and professionally.
• Escalate issues to Store Manager when needed and maintain professional conduct.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Assist the Store Manager with training and onboarding of store staff.
