Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Florida is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team in servicing customers and managing shifts in the manager’s absence, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities include coaching staff, assisting in hiring, ensuring efficient order processing, and maintaining high standards of service and store practices.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom with team execution on service programs.
• Help ensure the retail sales counter is staffed during peak hours, including weekends.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting tasks, interviews, and candidate evaluation with management input.
• Ensure telephone answers follow company policy and calls are answered promptly.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and DC orders and notify customers of shipments.
• Track outside purchases with the ledger and handle special orders efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and stage merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; communicate Zipline messages.
