Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations in Florida. This role may lead the store team in the manager's absence and on opposing shifts, with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team member execution of service programs.
• Help ensure the retail sales counter is staffed during peak hours and supervise scheduling.
• Assist the store manager in coaching, goal setting, and training of team members.
• Participate in recruiting tasks and interviewing to hire qualified staff.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers and DC add orders are processed promptly.
• Manage outside purchases and special orders efficiently and correctly.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and ensure proper merchandising and inventory procedures.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules, clock-in/out, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, deposits, and safe/lock checks.
