O'Reilly Auto Parts in Racine, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role leads the team during shifts and ensures exceptional service to retail and professional customers.

You will assist with hiring, coaching, and training, manage daily store activities, and uphold company policies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and a strong promote-from-within culture supports career growth.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom including programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring training is current.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy and manage all transfers and orders.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and invoicing are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Manage opening/closing duties, money security, and building security.
