Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Superior, WI, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations.

You will help staff during peak hours, coach team, participate in hiring, and ensure efficient processing of transfers and returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and the role includes growth opportunities with a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired and encouraged
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced retail environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Collaborate with the store manager to adequately staff during peak hours and shifts.
• Assist in hiring by coordinating interviews and candidate selection with management.
• Ensure calls and inquiries are handled per company policy and procedures.
• Oversee buy online/ship to store and transfers and ensure timely customer contact on shipments.
• Manage outside orders and special purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately and friendly manner.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate updates via Zipline and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out by staff.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure cash deposits.
• Support maintenance of the store building, signage, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
