Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance and daily operations. The role includes leading team members, coaching and hiring activities, and ensuring efficient store processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs.
• Work with the store manager to staff the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers of arrivals.
• Ensure returns, exchanges and refunds are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure deposits per policy.
• Maintain store building, signage, lighting and delivery vehicles.
• Ensure team compliance with posted schedules and company policies.
