Job summary

Carter's, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead brand experiences for growing families on the sales floor.

You will greet customers, showcase baby essentials, and support parents and grandparents through a welcoming environment and strong product knowledge. You will partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop the team, manage scheduling, drive KPIs, and ensure operational standards, loss prevention, and exceptional omnichannel service across in-store and online

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
A high school diploma or GED.
Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation).

Responsibilities

Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
Coach others to success while modeling service standards and omnichannel experience.
Analyze the business and communicate KPIs with the team to drive results.
Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and development of the store team.
Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
Partner with the Store Manager on merchandising standards, promotions, markdowns and product placement.
