Job summary

Crosby’s Stores in New York seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive store success. You’ll supervise team members, maintain cleanliness and brand standards, assist with scheduling, inventory, promotions, and cash handling, and enforce safety policies.

The role includes coaching, payroll support, and reporting tasks, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, life, 401K, PTO, and tuition

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work at least 40 hours/week, including weekends.
• Experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation as needed.
• Serve Safe certified, preferred.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling & reports.
• Ability to operate lottery, POS, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items per Crosby’s standards.
• Promote and assist with My Crosby’s Rewards enrollment.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Support merchandising, promotions, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
