Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Idaho is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and aid in opening/closing procedures.

The role involves payroll/scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring a clean, safe store. Part-time position with opportunities to train and develop staff in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store policies.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms and store areas clean and presentable.
