Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Mesa, AZ. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise store associates while ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates with the Store Manager.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store areas and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
