Athleta is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, lead the team, and translate brand values into a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development in collaboration with the General Manager.

This role emphasizes coaching Leads and Brand Associates to elevate performance. You’ll be responsible for executing the store strategy, training staff, and delivering on performance metrics while upholding

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Passion for retail in a fast-paced environment.
• Metrics-driven to meet business goals.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
