Athleta is hiring an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through store operations, merchandising, and talent development in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate with the General Manager to coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates, ensuring efficient store performance and a high-energy, inclusive culture. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is metrics-driven.
• Able to lead and mentor others through coaching.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales with a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own an assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experience.
• Ensure compliance with standards and processes.
