Job summary

The North Face in Novi, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Brand Advocates and deliver a best-in-class customer experience aligned with our brand values and purpose.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection. In the manager's absence, you will assume full store responsibility, promoting leadership, development, and an inclusive, high-performing retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection.
• In Store Manager's absence, assume full responsibility for the store.
• Monitor KPIs to achieve sales goals and coach the team to exceed targets.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding with high-caliber talent; provide ongoing training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with policies and manage expenses and inventory.
