Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company in Lakewood, Colorado, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Store Leadership Team. You will assist the Store Manager to ensure effective store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Bring 5+ years of retail management, POS experience, and strong communication to coach staff, manage inventory, and implement action plans focused on safety and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in position or specialization.
• Experience operating a Point of Sales (POS) system, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone.
• Effective communication with store leadership, associates, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Assist Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching and direction to ensure staff performance standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Assist with development and implementation of action plans to address issues relating to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
