Columbia Sportswear is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running an efficient store. You will lead the team, drive store sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operations that align with company goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, inventory control, and delivering strong results in a fast-paced retail environment at a Columbia brand location.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of experience in position or specialization
• Ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
• Effective communication skills with store leadership, associates, and customers

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Execute and support plans to enhance employee productivity and performance.
• Assist the Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Provide coaching to ensure staff performance standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Assist in development and implementation of action plans to address issues relating to sales, safety, training, and personnel development.
