Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join the Store Leadership Team. You will assist the Store Manager in operations, lead a diverse team, and provide sales floor leadership to drive sales and create a personalized shopping experience for customers.

You will train associates, manage merchandising and replenishment, and ensure adherence to company policies while promoting a culture of teamwork and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
• Ability to operate Inventory and POS systems and related retail software.
• Effective communication skills with the store leadership team, associates, and customers.
• Use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Provides training and in-the-moment coaching to ensure associates engage shoppers and leverage product knowledge.
• Supports store leadership in merchandising directives, replenishment, and store standards.
• Supervises a department, driving sales through understanding customer needs and product training.
• Collaborates with store leadership to execute procedures and resolve issues.
• Leads by example to foster a team-oriented store culture and upholds Columbia values.
