Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to join our Store Leadership Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, guest experience, and driving store performance while supporting a diverse team.

You will help uphold service standards, manage inventory, and foster staff development through coaching and training in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in position or specialization.
• Experience operating POS and in-store computer systems; telephone handling.
• Ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Effective communication skills; able to exchange ideas with store leadership, associates, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Execute and support plans to enhance employee productivity and performance.
• Assist the Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff, as necessary.
• Provide coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis to ensure staff performance standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
• Assist the Store Manager with the development and implementation of action plans to address issues relating to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
