Caleres in Pueblo, CO seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead the team and deliver the best shoe store experience for families. You’ll act as the store's leader in the absence of the Store Manager, coach associates, and ensure excellent customer service and product presentation.

You will drive sales, manage daily operations, and help develop talent while upholding policies and brand standards. This role demands flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for shoes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, retail preferred.
• Experience interviewing, hiring and training staff.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with store associates.
• Strong coaching and development abilities for customer experience.
• Judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Manager.
• Strong problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of retail practices and procedures.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
