Job summary

Discount Tire in Altoona, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and mentor a team, ensure safe, efficient tire and wheel service, and uphold a people-first culture that values growth from within.

You will coach four to five Tire Service Technicians, manage inventory, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and participate in a hands-on training program that builds a path to store leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some management experience and/or college course work is helpful.
• Ability to perform in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer service experience in sales and service.
• Empower customers with product knowledge.
• Inventory management.
• Installation and maintenance of tires/wheels, rotations, balancing and repairs.
• Training and guidance for Tire Service Technicians.
• Leading a team of 4-5 technicians in an indoor/outdoor service environment.
