Job summary

Kay Jewelers seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and a superior customer experience. You will lead the team, coach skills, and ensure merchandising and operations standards.

Requirements: at least one year of retail experience (jewelry preferred), POS knowledge, and ability to work days, evenings and weekends. Compensation includes base pay plus commission and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and develop skills of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruiting and selection of team members and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties as assigned.
