Job summary

Kay Jewelers is looking for a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals while ensuring excellent customer service. You will help develop team members, implement training, and uphold store standards daily.

You will recruit staff, enforce policies, and contribute to a positive, high-energy work environment that focuses on growth and promotion from within.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience, preferably in jewelry or specialty retail.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and team development through training.
• Recruitment and selection of team members to build a strong staff.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and perform other operational duties.
