Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on coaching guest service behaviors, training staff, and ensuring store standards in appearance, cleanliness, and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of retail or food experience with leadership potential, and may hold a ServSafe certification. This is a full-time role with scheduling that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Minimum experience: 1 year retail or food, complete Assistant Manager Training program.
• Preferred experience: 1-2 years in retail/guest service/restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the store team’s guest service behaviors, coaching to greet guests warmly and resolve issues.
• Assist Store Manager in training, scheduling, coaching, and promoting a positive working environment.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve operational excellence and financial goals for promotions and sales.
• Support store appearance, cleanliness, and stock levels, ensuring coffee, food, and restrooms meet standards.
• Monitor safety, merchandising, and stock rotation to keep in-stock levels at target.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or acting Store Manager.
• Complete essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
