Job summary

UDF-MyScoop Branding is seeking an Assistant Manager in Sunbury, OH to lead and develop a team while ensuring outstanding guest service. You will coordinate schedules, coach staff, and supervise daily store operations, including POS and gas sales, inventory, and safety compliance.

The role requires engaging with customers, training shift leaders, and maintaining store standards to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. Ability to process alcohol/tobacco sales is required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Experience in managing staff and coaching shift leaders.
• Strong focus on delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: assign/monitor duties, coach, train Shift Leaders and Guest Services Associates.
• Store administration: ordering, weekly delivery reports, product transfers, paperwork.
• Provide Hi Five Guest Experience: greet guests warmly and ensure readiness and service.
• DipSide guest services: prepare shakes, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed items.
• Operate POS and gas console: handle transactions, cash handling, and discounts.
• Stock merchandise: keep shelves and cold cases stocked and rotate stock.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurate time records and Customer First Document completion.
