Job summary

UDF is seeking an Assistant Manager in Columbus, OH to ensure outstanding guest service following the Hi Five Guest Experience. The role involves supervising associates, handling store operations, and maintaining store conditions during a 37-40 hour work week on various shifts.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing daily paperwork, and ensuring proper cash handling and POS operation. Must be able to lift up to 21 pounds and work in cold temperatures as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English.
• Ability to coach and supervise associates and conduct interviews.
• Experience operating POS systems and related store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee associates and delegate tasks; coach and train shifts.
• Handle store administration tasks and paperwork as directed.
• Ensure Hi Five Guest Experience is delivered and store conditions are excellent.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage food/service quality.
• Operate POS and gas console, handle transactions and payments.
• Maintain stock, shelves, and equipment; monitor temperatures and cleanliness.
• Assist with security procedures and cash handling policies.
• Support management with reporting and other duties.
