Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Phoenix, AZ. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and lead a team focused on friendly customer service and store success.

Open availability on weekends and holidays required; second or third shifts common. We offer weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, 401(k), paid time off, health coverage, and a path to store manager roles.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Comfortable with cleaning, trash removal and pump areas.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new procedures.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store finances.
• Provide leadership feedback to motivate excellence.
