Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, coach the team, and help hire, train, and schedule a high-performing crew.

This role offers weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, 401(k), paid time off, health insurance, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus after six months. Open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends and holidays, with second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Physical readiness for cleaning and store upkeep tasks.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Clear English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to store procedures.
• Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and a positive attitude.
• Coach and motivate the team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and manage schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide leadership feedback to drive team performance.
