Job summary

SecureSpace Management LLC in Milpitas, CA, is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, drive sales, and ensure a safe, clean facility. You will help with customer rentals, onboarding new clients, and coordinating with the team on scheduling.

The role requires strong English communication, basic Excel/Word skills, and willingness to travel occasionally for shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Supports Store Manager and acts as backup in absences.
• Customer-service mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Identifies maintenance, safety, and fire issues.
• Operates roll-up doors; occasional travel to other locations.
• Skilled in resolving conflicts and addressing issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Promote unit rentals and drive sales to surpass targets.
• Guide new customers through the rental process.
• Coordinate with clients on moving dates and unit readiness.
• Manage past-due accounts and lien/auction paperwork.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations.
• Conduct daily property inspections for security and cleanliness.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and basic gardening.
• Operate tools for property maintenance.
• Communicate updates to Store Manager and Leadership Team.
• Occasionally travel to nearby locations for shifts.
• Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
