Job summary

SecureSpace Management LLC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Portland area self-storage facilities. You will support the Store Manager, drive rentals, improve customer experience, and help manage daily operations.

You will coordinate with team members, ensure security and cleanliness, and participate in weekend and holiday scheduling as needed. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong use of the English language in verbal and written communication.
• Provides consistent support to the Store Manager and acts as a backup in their absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in promoting unit rentals, warranties, and moving supplies to exceed sales targets.
• Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Reach out to potential clients to confirm moving dates and prepare units.
• Help manage past-due tenant accounts and lien/auction paperwork.
• Contribute to exceptional customer service and address client needs.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure security, cleanliness, and upkeep.
