Job summary

SecureSpace Management LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support Store, Area, and District leaders at a SecureSpace Self Storage facility. You will help drive unit rentals, guest experience, and teamwork across staff.

The role includes daily site inspections, light maintenance, and occasional travel to nearby locations. Flexible weekend/holiday scheduling is available; a $1,500 retention bonus is offered after milestone hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong English language skills in verbal and written form.
• Supports Store Manager and acts as backup in their absence.
• Customer service mindset and client-focused approach.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Identifies maintenance, safety, and fire issues.
• Operates roll-up doors and may travel to other locations.
• Skilled in resolving conflicts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Promotes unit rentals and moving supplies to surpass sales targets.
• Guides new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Contacts potential clients about moving dates to prepare units.
• Manages past-due tenant accounts and lien/auction paperwork.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to exceed expectations.
• Conducts daily property inspections for security and upkeep.
• Performs light gardening and maintenance tasks.
• Uses power tools for general property maintenance.
• Maintains cleanliness and aesthetics with cleaners and chemicals.
• Communicates updates to Store Manager and Leadership Team.
• May travel to nearby locations for scheduled shifts.
• Weekend and holiday availability per schedule.
