Saver Group in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and drive sales growth. You will create an engaging environment for team members and ensure excellent shopping experiences for customers.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, scheduling, and stepping in for the store manager as needed, while upholding company values and standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and willingness to deal with people daily.
• Experience leading store teams or departments is a plus.
• Attention to detail across all store areas is essential.
• Ability to manage store finances and assets.
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws is beneficial.
• Ability to delegate and build teamwork across the store.
• Strong communication with staff and district managers is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and maintain physical stamina.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and development to store team members.
• Create a safe, positive store environment for customers and staff.
• Assist in creating weekly team schedules.
• Lead store operations in the store manager’s absence, including opening/closing.
• Support team growth through training, coaching and mentoring actions.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders: team, managers, and district leadership.
