Job summary

Team Washington, Inc. in the Washington DC metropolitan area is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to assist in daily oversight, coordination and execution of sales, costs, customer service and sanitation.

You will supervise staff, ensure brand standards, assist with opening/closing, manage cash handling, and support the General Manager and Regional Managers.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, multi-tasking, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Pass background checks as required by the company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and management.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to enter and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure customers are welcomed and service is courteous and responsive.
• Supervise food preparation and service to meet brand standards.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and scheduling tasks.
• Lead and guide team on duty to maintain efficiency and morale.
• Manage cash handling and reconciliations.
• Support Labor cost management and inventory control.
