Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, credit functions, and team performance. This role drives excellence, ensures credit compliance, develops staff, and maintains high customer service standards.

The position emphasizes accountability, professionalism, and a positive, results-driven store environment with leadership responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in sales, customer service, and/or credit or collections processes preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate company vehicles when required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish may be a plus based on store staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations, ensuring adherence to policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational, sales and service goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations and coaching.
• Supervise store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience through professional service and merchandising.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement and promotional support.
• Oversee credit and collection processes, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Assist with customer accounts, contract documentation, and cash handling.
