Kimbrell’s Furniture is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, credit functions, and team performance. This role drives operational excellence and delivers a high standard of customer service.

You will coach and develop team members, supervise in the Store Manager’s absence, and ensure showroom presentation, cash handling, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Experience with sales, customer service, and credit/collections processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate company vehicles when required.

Responsabilités

• Support store operations and enforce policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop team to meet goals.
• Provide performance feedback and manage employee relations.
• Supervise operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Ensure a high-quality customer experience and showroom presentation.
• Assist with showroom organization and product placement.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement and promotions.
• Oversee credit and collection processes and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain cash handling, deposits, and financial controls.
• Maintain privacy of customer information and daily store organization.
• Support administrative tasks and light merchandise handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
