Kimbrell’s Furniture seeks an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in daily operations, credit functions, and team performance. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, ensuring credit compliance, developing staff, and delivering excellent customer service.

As a key leader, you will foster accountability and a positive, results-driven store environment, while supporting sales, merchandising, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support overall store operations and ensure adherence to policies and performance expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team to meet operational, sales, and customer service goals.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain high-quality customer experience through professional service and showroom presentation.
• Assist with showroom organization, product placement, and merchandising.
• Drive sales growth through customer engagement and promotional support.
• Support sales activities and ensure team execution of company sales model.
• Oversee credit and collection processes in compliance with policies and laws.
• Assist with customer account management, contracts, and accurate documentation.
• Maintain financial controls including cash handling and deposits.
• Ensure handling of customer information complies with privacy regulations.
• Support administrative functions, reporting, and daily store organization.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and assist with light merchandise handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
