89th & Madison is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will help shape store strategy, align the team with company values, and oversee opening/closing, inventory, and merchandising.

The role emphasizes coaching, recruitment, and collaboration with the Store Manager to meet store objectives. The position requires 32–40 hours per week with a strong focus on sales leadership, customer engagement, and team development in a fast-paced

Qualificações

• Previous retail management experience, ideally with 1+ years in Assistant Manager responsibilities.
• Strong sales focus with ability to coach and develop a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customers and partners.
• Proficient with technology, including POS systems and MS Office.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate a sales floor.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Exceed personal and store sales goals and develop sales skills within the team.
• Devise and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and customer experience.
• Capture and manage client information (phone, email, address) and address objections.
• Understand store merchandise, pricing, floor and stockroom layouts.
• Maintain housekeeping and visual merchandising; use POS/CRM/inventory tools.
• Enforce inventory security per loss prevention program.
• Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in coaching and mentoring employees.
• Collaborate on recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
