Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager with daily store operations, ensuring policy adherence and excellent guest service. The role focuses on supervising staff, cash handling, inventory, and promoting company initiatives.

Based in North Haven, CT, the ASM will assist with banking, payroll, scheduling, and maintaining safety, cleanliness, and store standards while delivering a high level of guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
• Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of variances.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and related duties per policy.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits.
• Maintain store standards and cleanliness.
• Ensure store safety and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and participate in promotions.
• Provide high level of guest service and support company policies.
