Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Leader to guide customer service excellence and oversee daily retail operations in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate staffing for peak hours, supervise showroom activity, and support coaching and training of team members to achieve service goals.

The role emphasizes hiring coordination, policy adherence, and timely processing of orders, returns, and transfers, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, give feedback, coach/mentor, and ensure training compliance.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and participating in interviews.
• Manages telephone inquiries according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed timely and customers are contacted as needed.
• Oversee returns/exchanges and refunds with correct payment methods and proper processing.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and coordinate communication of messages.
