Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will build a sales culture, share product knowledge with guests, ensure a clean and organized shopping environment, and grow guest loyalty.

The role supervises Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence. You will promote guest benefits, train staff, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests, respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Assist Store Manager with onboarding, training, and policy enforcement.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of Store Manager.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll, and ensure proper breaks and compliance.
