Job summary

Journeys is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training in recruiting, training, and supervising store personnel to meet sales goals and protect company assets. You will help build a high-performing sales team and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, willingness to learn, and the ability to work 45 hours weekly including nights and weekends, with opportunities for rapid advancement and employee

Qualifications

• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees
• Provide feedback, coaching and accountability to staff
• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals
• Willingness to learn and develop into Co-Manager role
• Ability to work 45 hours per week including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to achieve store and personal sales goals, control expenses, and protect company assets
• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provide feedback and coaching to all employees and enforce company policies
• Ensure initiative implementation and alignment with company direction
• Supervise daily store operations in absence of Store Manager/Manager In Training
• Manage Loss Prevention practices during absence of leadership
• Communicate store needs to management
• Resolve customer issues and provide a full-service experience
• Demonstrate Journeys culture to the team
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds; work night and weekend shifts
