Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Inglewood, CA to assist with store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with opening/closing, merchandise transfers, and daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, retail store management experience, strong communication skills, and the stamina to handle physical duties. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to lead and develop a friendly, high-energy team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.

• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise transfers from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
