Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with daily functions, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include guiding associates, handling opening/closing tasks, and adhering to company policies while delivering exceptional customer experiences in a high-energy team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with questions in a positive manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotions.
• Assist in ordering, damaged goods, payroll, and scheduling.
• Keep stockroom and sales floor well organized.
• Protect company assets and cash.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Help Store Manager train and develop associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
