Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing procedures, merchandise handling, payroll and scheduling duties, and loss prevention to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient store.

You will help train Store Associates, maintain displays, and ensure policy adherence. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer care, and a positive work environment across all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
